i often wonder why everything to my father is another thing to add onto the list of disappointments. i don’t understand why it’s such a production to let me go shopping, visit dc, or do anything other than study. i don’t understand why he has to say condescending comments about my grades, my intelligence, my weight. so, i’m sorry i don’t always have the same opinions, and i’m sorry i don’t always think before i act.

i’m sorry that i always say i’m sorry for everything.

i’m sorry you think my words and apologies mean nothing.

i’m sorry, but i don’t think i’m really sorry at all.
